Fredag’s own electro rock duo Any Color Black will,
with the audiences assistance; create the artwork and
video for their upcoming EP 'Touch Me' at their live
show in The Buff Club, Glasgow on Saturday 18
October.
Members of the audience will be photographed
'touching' in whatever manner they see fit and then
the images will be sliced to create one large collage
of the event to feature as the front cover of the EP.
Live footage shot of the event and additional footage
taken by fans will be included in the video.
Live remixing tracks from the new Any Color Black EP
using a Nintendo Wii Remote will be The Amazing Rolo
(Yann Seznec). He will perform, using the Wii
LoopMachine, new software for mixing, composing, and
performing original music using only Wii remotes.
Yann & The LoopMachine have been featured in The
Independent, Develop, as well as on STV and BBC's
Dragons' Den.
The E.P. will be Any Color Black's debut release,
scheduled for 1st December 2008. An electro rock duo
from Glasgow, consisting of Louise and Andy, their
'house-rock' sound developed from their meeting at
4am one morning on Glasgow's Buchanan Street while in
search of some post drink snacks and a taxi home.
A new Fredag artist Epic26 completes the line up, an
electro indie rock band from Edinburgh. They have
supported The View, The Dykeenies and Glasvegas.
Fresh from supporting Ladyhawke at ABC2 last week Any
Color Black are supporting Trash Fashion at The
Classic Grand on Tuesday 4 November, play the Skins
Live Party on Sat 15 November and play Live @ The
Mill, Glasgow on 10th December. 2009 is already
booking up beginning with the Academy Live Tour in
January; which includes headlining the Glasgow
Academy.
Any Color Black's E.P. "Touch Me" will be released on
December 1st 2008
